Applications will be kept on file at the WCESC for two years for the following positions:

Please contact the local school districts ( Eastwood, Elmwood, Lake, North Baltimore, Northwood and Otsego) and fill out their application (ex. Math, English, Elementary, Early Childhood, Social Studies Teachers, etc). The individual districts arrange interviews and hire for their Teacher - Para Professional positions. In addition, applications are accepted for special education programs located in the Bowling Green City School District, Perrysburg Exempted Village School District, and Rossford Exempted Village School District.

Description: To provide educational support including tutoring, classroom management, organization of materials, and computer assistance for students under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher.
Qualifications: -- Paraprofessional License required. Must have 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours or can take parapro test -- BCII/FBI ( less than 365 days old)

Position: Site Supervisor
Description: 30-hour per week to coordinate before/after-school and summer enrichment & extended learning program. Responsible for the operation of a program site in an area elementary school. Must be 21 years of age, associate degree in related field, and experience working with youth programs.
The Community Learning Centers are cooperative programs made available through Wood County Educational Service Center and our local area school districts. Our before/after school and summer programs provide academic and enrichment activities for elementary school age children and are licensed through the Ohio Department of Education.
Position: Program assistants
Description: 15-25 hours per week. Elementary school enrichment and extended learning program. Must have experience working with children and available to work after school 3:00 pm- 6:00 pm and summer Monday- Fridays.

Fingerprinting for the National FBI and BCII can be processed through the Wood County ESC by appointment only. Please contact Alicia Leslie at 419-354-9010 to set up an appointment.
The BCII cost is $25.00 for substitute/new hire or area school employees.
The FBI cost is $42.00.
CASH -- correct amount is greatly appreciated - (no large bills as we cannot make change) or Money Order made out to Wood County Educational Service Center.
A valid drivers license or an ID from the Dept of Motor Vehicles is required for the BCII.
